Use Your Router

Setting up a VPN on your router will automatically route all devices on your network, including your Xbox, through the VPN connection. Here’s how you can do that:

  1. Sign up for MysteriumVPN.
  2. Log in to your router’s admin panel via a web browser (the router’s address can be found on a physical sticker on your router, or by looking up the Gateway address of your Wi-Fi).
  3. Locate the VPN settings section. This may vary depending on your router model and firmware. Note that your router must have the ability to support VPN connections.
  4. Enter your VPN credentials and server configuration (provided by your VPN provider).
  5. Save and apply the changes.
  6. Restart your router.
  7. Turn on your Xbox and connect it to the same network—your traffic will now be routed through the VPN.

Note: Not all routers support VPN connections. If yours doesn’t, you could try flashing it with firmware like DD-WRT or Tomato or purchasing a VPN-ready router.
